3-27-09: Newspaper Articles (A Days)

Your Book for outside reading was due today! Remember it can be anything you want as long as it is an actual novel and it is over 100 pages.

For our Punctual Piece we looked at pronoun agreement. Remember everybody is singular so it is paired with he or she! We completed some practice exercises--you'll want to make those up!

Next we talked about Newspaper Writing. We read a newspaper article and talked about the characteristics of Newspaper Writing. In groups you broke down the article we read into its components.

Then you completed the Newspaper Planning Sheet and began drafting your article. If you missed class, you will want to have a draft done for Tuesday!

For Tuesday:
1. Complete the draft of your Newspaper Article so it's ready for Peer Review. Remember, you cannot make up the Draft points if you don't have it done!
