10-9-08: Siddhartha Ch. 12; Peer Review (B Days)

Today we started class by writing about 3 things we have learned about Buddhist/Hindu culture, life, or ourselves from reading Siddhartha.

We also turned in our Writer's Journals, so get those to me if you weren't in class!!

Then we read Siddhartha Chapter 12--the last chapter. Yay! Aren't you glad to be done? Things are wrapping up this term.

Finally we used the rest of the class period to peer review each others' drafts, using the peer review process we practiced last class with my paper.

For Monday:
1. Read Siddhartha Chapter 12, if you weren't in class.
2. Peer Review will be tricky for those of you who weren't in class. You will need to find a classmate who also was not in class to switch papers with. I will help you with this if you come and talk to me!
3. Start preparing your Hero's Journey chart and Connections chart. You should be finishing those up and getting them ready to turn in--we will be handing those in on Monday!
4. Get your outside reading book #2!
