5-6-09: Intro. Three Cups of Tea (B Days)

Today we started off with our Punctual Piece. We wrote a paragraph in answer to the question:
Can ONE person make a difference? How so?

Then we took notes on the PowerPoint for Three Cups of Tea. If you missed class, you will need to make this up on your own. The PowerPoint in in PDF format on the website--and linked here :)

For part of the PowerPoint we watched the following video clips. See the PowerPoint Notes so you know how to respond and what to look for.

For next class you will need to read Chapters 1-3 in Three Cups of Tea. And make sure you bring your book to class with you!
